ARENA PASS
So its that time once again, Strap on your armor pick up your swords and shields and hit the arena in the hopes of gaining fame and fortune.... Or a really nice pet.
Thats right the Arena Tournament realms have returned, This time with a twist.
"ARENA PASS"
What was once call AT or Arena Tournament is now called Arena Pass, With the change of name also comes a few new changes.
This year the top 1000 teams in the 3v3 bracket will be receiving the title, this change seems that blizzard is finally listening to the greater player base and realising not all players are Arena Fiends and don't either have the time or the required skills to push for high rating. Wait, Doesn't this mean players are just getting an easy title?
Anyway, The second change has to do with the pet, NO LONGER do you need to farm endlessly (well you do that was a lie) but you no longer need 300 games. The new change to gain the in game pet is now only 50 wins per team in the 3v3 bracket. The only downside is it has to be done with the same team.
The third and final change has to do with Character slots, previously you were able to create as many toons (10 max obviously) on the AT realms. This year that has been changed. You are now only allowed a maximum of 3 characters per AT realm. So 6 all up over the AT realms. I am not sure why blizzard decided upon this, but I am sure they have their reasons.
4.2 Hits PTR
4.2 has finally hit the testing phase and players are going out and what seems to be getting themselves set on fire once again, this time non intentional... Unless players are alot more emotionally unstable then I remember.
Either way this paves the way for new raid content as well as more dailies for those that actually do them.
So far the raids look intense and I cannot wait for it to be released so myself and my guild can bang heads over who gets the what looks like flame retardant tier. This leads me on to the next piece of news.

Now for some rumour mongering.
Blizzard has recently stated that they are working on a Cross realm grouping system, allowing real ID friends to group up and queue for dungeons together, this was quoted as happening "Soon". So I wouldn't hold your breath just yet.
